Matilda is a gorgeous expressionist painting featuring a young lady, she has large eyes to view the world. I created matilda on a day when I was feeling a little down and I must add that she is one of my favourite pieces.
The texture & gloss on this piece is absolutely marvelous and van be viewed on my Instagram social page .
Ive decided to use soft bright colours to give Matilda a softer more neutral feel, I then added bold big colours to add contrast and complexity. I also used cooler blues in the shadows of Matilda’s face to bring her to life.
This piece will add beauty and expression to any dull wall or room.
