Traces in transit series 6 (Roots Across Waters) 29,7cm x 42,0 cm

This is the final piece. I used mop thread and pressed leaves to show roots growing into new soil. It’s a hopeful ending. It shows that it is possible to grow in a new land while still staying connected to the water and the earth you came from.
