Elsewhere, anywhere

Somewhere between nostalgia and fernweh. This painting features gloomy but re-assuring colors as well as an indistinct city on the horizon. It is intentionally indefinite – allowing the observer to insert their dreams into the image, in a sense – becoming that city that the observer dreams of.
