Description
This eagle painting is definitely one of my masterpieces, along with ‘the View’. The feathers just like fur takes many layers of paint, different brush strokes and sizes and colour tints, to get that perfect depth of ‘fluff’.
My absolute favourite part of painting wildlife are the eyes, the fur and feathers.
I started this painting in 2022 and painted on and off until the end of 2024. In January 2025 I added the finishing touches. What an amazing journey this art piece was.
From a young age I have always dreamt about flying and falling. I still dream about flying, less about falling. Thinking about it now, one side is a dream the other side its one of my biggest fears. Fear of heights, which is funny because when I dream about flying I don’t want to wake up.
