Description
The Humanities building officially opened in 1977, but the lower floors have been in use since 1975. This structure cost the university five and a half million rand to build, and Roper street was closed for its construction. To this day, the building houses 400 offices and almost 30 lecture halls, making it both an iconic sight and a key feature of the University of Pretoria’s landscape.
