Digital art piece ‘Into the Blue Ocean’ is printed 60 × 81 cm on archival Giclée Fine Art paper, offering rich colour depth and refined detail. Inspired by the calming qualities of the colour blue and the vastness of the ocean, Pretoria-based artist Natasha Taljaard invites the viewer to metaphorically dive into the composition—creating a moment of stillness and reflection amid the busyness of everyday life. Subtle shifts in tone, texture, and form guide the eye gently across the surface, encouraging slow looking and contemplation, before allowing the gaze to settle at the centre. The artwork evokes a sense of quiet immersion, offering both visual balance and emotional calm.
The base of blue was digitally formed, and then natural organic matter was drawn in. The result was digitally arranged into the focussed composition.
If the client chooses, each print can be signed individually by me; alternatively, a unique digital signature is present on each artwork. It is shipped in a tube container (7,62cm x 7,62cm x 70cm)
