In Let’s Explore, Marika Steynberg van Wyk turns her gaze inward, away from the wilderness and wildlife that so often inspire her, and towards the intimate landscape of family. The artist herself explains: “I painted my two children and the neighbour’s old tractor… it is about children and how they look at life, and my son being very protective of his sister.”
