The Dragon

Description

The drawing was started with a rough sketch using an HB pencil. Next was slowly adding more depth to the drawing by using pencils to build up the depth. Then grey acrylic paint was used to add a hint of colour. After the paint dried, a fine liner was used to outline the dragon, after that a black permanent marker was used to add more depth to the dragon. The eye was highlighted using a blue colour pencil and white highlights were added around the dragon using a white gel pen. The background was painted by using acrylic paint that was watered down to be used like watercolour paint. Next, black spray paint was used on the top right corner of the artwork to make the dragon stand out more. Finally a thick white border was made using white acrylic paint. This drawing was made on an A4 page and took approximately 5 days to complete.
