Karnish is a successful and established contemporary painter from South Africa whose vibrant abstract works have been featured in exhibitions and held in collections across the world.
Her diverse oeuvre centres around humanity, nature, figures, florals and flow.. Participating in group- and solo exhibitions and exhibiting online, her works are now held by private collectors and in collections throughout Europe, North- and South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
Karnish expertly layers mesmerizing textures, evoking a sense of freedom, sparking an energetic atmosphere and creating stimulating contemporary universes. All the artworks embodies that which inspires – moments for the viewer to reflect, and find their own stories in these one-of-a-kind expressions.
Since childhood, being an artist was in her DNA and essential to her being. After completing her degree studies at UP, travelling Africa and Europe, holding space as mother – the natural progression of becoming a full-time artist unfolded only much later in life. Somehow the timing offered maturity and wonder, a true delight and gratitude to always play and humility.
