Born and raised in Durbanville, Rietie has been creating for as long as she can remember—always lost in daydreams, chasing escape, and finding freedom in art. A tattoo artist by trade, her playground doesn’t stop there. Pencil, paint, digital, even skin—she loves experimenting, breaking rules, and seeing where creativity leads.
Rietie sees the world differently—sometimes light and playful, sometimes deep and contemplative—like a butterfly and a moth dancing together in the air, as she often says. Her work is all about freedom: no boundaries, no limits, just pure expression. Every piece is an adventure, a chance to explore, play, and surprise both artist and viewer. For Rietie, art isn’t just what she does—it’s how she lives, dreams, and invites others to see the world through her eyes.
