Here, the only form of utterance is found in line, shape, and tone, allowing the visual elements to speak where words fall short.
The woman’s face is inspired by La Scapigliata by Leonardo da Vinci, referencing the timeless softness and introspective quality of the original while reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens. This dialogue between past and present creates a space for reflection, inviting viewers to project their own emotions, memories, and meanings onto the image. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, the work remains open and contemplative, encouraging a personal and intuitive response.
