Description
Point of View captures the immense weight and complexity of perception. A figure, whose own identity is obscured, is burdened by an enormous, fantastical apparatus, part film projector, part weapon, part machine of unknown purpose. This intricate device becomes a metaphor for how our own worldview is constructed: a heavy, complex mechanism influenced by memory, technology, and the stories we are told.
Rademeyer’s meticulous graphite work highlights every gear and wire, emphasising the mechanical nature of observation. It asks the viewer: are we truly seeing the world, or are we merely projecting our own reality onto it?
